In the next couple of months, I think we would be able to view the latest Samsung smartphone that has been in production for a while now. The CEO of Samsung Mobile, DJ Koh revealed to the CNBC at the IFA electronics show which took place at Berlin a week ago, that the foldable Samsung smartphone has been undergoing production and it is about time for the smartphone to be unveiled. DJ Koh spoke about the market survey that was done to find out if there was actually a target market that would love to buy a foldable smartphone and there was a positive feedback as regarding the foldable smartphone the, next best technology.
DJ Koh also revealed that the foldable smartphone could be unveiled at the Samsung Developers Conference which will take place in November at San Francisco, he didn't say a word about how the smartphone will work or function but he spoke about the complexity involved in the production of the smartphone and its design. It seems Samsung is actually trying to create a single screen that can fold, it was said that most of its features can be used while it is folded.
He also spoke about the experience of the foldable smartphone being different from that of a tablet when it is unfolded. He also mentioned that there will be new and innovative features in the foldable smartphone which will differentiate it from others especially because of the added features which will make consumers realize the purpose behind the production of the smartphone and will give them a reason to purchase one.
DJ Koh also spoke about the change that Samsung is making towards the mid-tier smartphone audience, by producing a smartphone which will be at affordable rates so as to attract more customers in large numbers that want to own a smartphone with high tech.
