oneplus 6 Review

As we all know that oneplus is known for its stylish designs and unbeatable performance, After the great success of oneplus 5 and oneplus 5T the company decided to take the smartphone industry to a whole new level, and hence launched one of the greatest smartphone ever, “the oneplus 6.” The company did a fine job improving the build and design of the new Oneplus 6. The new oneplus 6 has a completely new design, new processor, new screen type and many more upgrades and improvements. The mobile phone comes in two variants, one with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage and the other one with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage.

The new building design completely outshines the previous models of the oneplus series, the body is almost completely made up of glass which makes the phone look even more attractive and easier and more comfortable to hold with one hand. oneplus 6 is available in two magnificent colours, (midnight black and white with pinkish golden) plus it is also available in limited Marvel Avengers edition. Midnight black is the most common and the cheapest oneplus 6 available at the starting price of Rs.34,999. All color variants have the same shiny and reflective finish that looks quite good and attractive, but the only drawback is that it leaves fingerprints all over it as soon as you touch it. Overall, oneplus 6 is a well-crafted and powerful phone that packs a punch and is capable of meeting the demands of most people. It comes with a display of 6.3-inch and a resolution of 2280 x 1080 pixels which is better and bigger than oneplus 5 and oneplus 5T. It also gives you a better feel while watching Netflix and amazon prime videos.

So far, we have talked about the design and the screen now let’s begin with the camera. Last year oneplus 5T surprised us all with the dual rear camera with the same focal length, not much has changed since then. oneplus 6 has the same 16MP plus 20MP rear camera with dual led flash that works surprisingly well in low light conditions. The front facing camera is of 16 MP, same as the previous model that can shoot HDR videos in 1080p. Updates and some new features are also added in the selfie camera like the portrait mode, although it does not work so effectively due to the single lens on the front. The company has added a slow-mo video mode that has the maximum limit of 480 frames per second in 720p, which is good, but not as good as Samsung galaxy s9 and Huawei P20 pro. It can also shoot high quality videos at 30/60 frames per second in 2160p and 30/60/240 frames per second in 1080p.

I won’t be exaggerating if I have to say that oneplus 6 is one of the best phones available in the market, when it comes to the performance it has a lighting fast Snapdragon 845 processor that works extraordinarily well in pretty much every condition. Other than the processor, it has 8GB of RAM that make even smoother and refined. While using it you won’t be surprised to believe that it works better and faster than the Samsung galaxy s9 plus and the Huawei P20 pro.
